Hello everyone, in this post I actually wanted to address a very important, yet often forgotten topic in our Human to Human interactions – Getting to know each other.
WHO_AM_I
My name is {FIRST_NAME} (no way in 21st century someone really shares their real names to random people online) and I work as a web developer for many-many years now.
I specialize on Ruby, JavaScript and SQL and this website will mainly host some snippets from the work I did on my jobs (I really have few projects running that I support and do many interesting features at) and overall experiences I faced on my path.
I live in central Europe whole my life and I think people from this area will see a lot of similar patterns in some of my “FREE THOUGHT ALERT” kind of posts with what they live through in day to day life.
This website is going to have 0% of AI generated content. Everything written here was build by me using my awesome keyboard.
WHY_AM_I
The reason I am creating and hosting and updating this blog is split in a trinity of sub-reasons:
- I want to share and save my work and experience I got while doing it (I hate all the information noise, hidden advertisements coming from every hole on me and AI built content, killing the ability to complete this reason on other platforms)
- I want to start growing a network of people I know in the field. When working on web projects at max you can meet 5 new people per project, 4 of which will forget you ever forever after your paths split – making all web developers pretty enclosed in a network of up to 20 people they well, while physically split by hundreds of kilometers (this is approximately 9,832.5 football fields for US audience) – eliminating any idea of social encounters. I want this website to be a possibility for people to get to know same-minded people and, if possible,
- Often me or my colleagues have a job opening in web development area – with almost no ability to find a good fit outside our networks, which is very sad! upwork, linkedin, {ANY_OTHER_TIME_WASTING_PLATFORM} are just horrible in personnel and job search!! It’s impossible to find both real and hard working people there, its either a 5th project for Claude entrepreneur from New Delhi, or a project for 12 developers working in shadow under some good talking liar. I want this community to interchange their need for a job and need for a developer with much higher chance of good fit.
WHEN_AM_I
I perfectly understand that this website is going to have hard time getting in a line of sight of people I am looking for – but I will keep it running for as long as it needs to succeed on the reasons mentioned above.
I don’t want to make these texts SEO driven, even though it will probably help with growth – my aim is to make everything as how I imagined it and not how it will sell better.
